(Anchorage, AK) – On October 2, Judge McKenna of the Anchorage Superior Court imposed a maximum sentence of 198 years on 37-year-old Mario Jackson after he was convicted of two counts of Murder in the First Degree. The convictions were a result of the tragic events that occurred on October 17, 2025, when Jackson murdered Shelia Aguchak and Bobby DeLoach Jr.
According to the investigation, Jackson, who had a romantic interest in Shelia, lured the victims to a location in Anchorage, where he shot Bobby. Following this, both Bobby and Shelia attempted to escape, but were eventually confronted by Jackson in a parking lot, an encounter that was documented on video. Jackson was seen loading his firearm and shooting Shelia as she attempted to flee, before reloading and fatally shooting both victims in the head. Despite denying his involvement during the investigation and trial, he was ultimately identified as the shooter.
